Although there are many I enjoyed. However, the one that inspires me to keep on trying as an author, is my very favorite--Murder, She Wrote. Even on the twentieth viewing of the series, I enjoy the plot setting. But mostly I like the way Jessica is portrayed as a kind, caring, interesting person. I would like to be as successful as she id--both as an author and as a person. In response to Rochelle- after teaching English, and even now teaching theatre I am well acquainted with the line between inspiration and plagiarism, it is something I go out of my way to avoid. Personally, I don't even like or think much of fan-fiction. To say we don't glean inspiration from others' ideas would be a boldfaced lie, the job of the writer, however, is to transform those thoughts and ideas into new stories and tales. Heinlein once said) well enough. While fan-fic has become its own genre, there's still a fine line between inspiration and plagiarism. Be sure not to cross it.Rochelle Weber Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17534272450851722153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9192589828784769498.post-11136970203658464072014-04-14T20:10:49.730-04:002014-04-14T20:10:49.730-04:00Call me "Old School." :-) TV shows that ...Call me "Old School." :-) TV shows that influence my writing include Night Gallery, Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Thriller, and One Step Beyond. But anime has also influenced me, such as Hellsing Ultimate, Vampire Princess Miyu, and the Mermaid Saga (Rumiko Takahashi).
